HOW TO MAKE MONEY WITH SFI

Before we get started with the "how," let's
establish a very important fact: There's no such
thing as "get rich quick." However, there IS huge money
to be made on the Internet...IF you know
the secrets.

SFI has become the world's largest marketing

SFI Affiliates: Are You Missing the Boat??

I received this month's SFI newsletter and it featured links to the SFI DBoard. What an enlightening bunch of information I tripped across!

To sum it up, if you are not (1) using and promoting SFI's products; and (2) utilizing SFI's many available co-ops for building your affiliate base -- you are missing out on a potential "cash cow" in both areas!

Let me explain:

I am in the process of building some Squidoo lenses to showcase some of the TONS of products offered each month through SFI's Veriuni line of high-quality products. Check out some of the info on SFI's website about the retail end of just their cleaning products!:

Selling Tips for Natural Cleaning Products
Points to hit when selling:
1. Reduces the chances of liability from employee illnesses and reactions to toxic cleaning chemicals used within the organization.
2. Cost of disposal of toxic waste is reduced.
3. Cost is competitive or even cheaper than traditional cleaners.
4. Reduces health concerns of employees, clients, and family members.

Companies to target for Veriuni™ sales:
1. Janitorial firms, local housekeeping agencies
2. Nursing homes
3. Hotels and motels
4. Large companies in your area with a variety of cleaning needs
5. Restaurants
6. Daycare centers
7. Public and private schools
8. Rehabilitation centers and hospitals
9. Local centers of worship
10. Fitness centers

HINT: With smaller firms, you’ll probably be approaching the owner. Hotels may have a housekeeping department or a manager interested in reducing liability for employees and guests. With larger companies, you may want to contact the safety director, who will also be interested in reducing liability risks.

Steps To The Sale
1. Bring some literature telling about the product line. You can print out descriptions of the products from the Veriuni™ Website. Focus on taking care of all the cleaning needs of your prospective customer.

2. Hit them with testimonials and endorsements about the Veriuni™ products. This will show the prospective customer the legitimacy of the cleaners and the fact that they work. After all, which would you rather buy for your business or home-a no-name competitor; an expensive, toxic traditional cleaner; or the very same effective, safe cleaner being used right now (under different brand names) by various state and city government agencies, private resorts, and the National Park Service?

3. Talk about the reduction of liability for the prospective customer, in terms of a safer, healthier environment for employees, clients, and the general public. Although no claims have yet gone to court over illnesses incurred by the cleaning products in a place of work, a school, or a hospital, does your prospective customer want to take that chance? For home owners and other individual customers, mention the growing scientific evidence showing the link between illnesses, diseases, and other side effects and the toxic chemicals found in most traditional cleaners.

4. Demonstrate the products. We suggest you use your 16-ounce samples as a demonstration kit to show prospective clients just how effective Veriuni™ cleaners are. Use them in your own home, experiment with different messes (grease, oil, stains, etc.), and become familiar with each Veriuni™ product. Then, have your client follow you to toughest areas to clean in the building, office, or home, or the nearest bathroom, where you can demonstrate the glass cleaner on the mirrors, for example. Or, pick a spot on the carpet and use the Enzyme Stain Remover to clean the stain. Mention that this product will also take care of pet odors (important for hotels that accept pets), grass stains, blood-any organic-based stain.

5. Ask the customer how many products they’d like to buy. Be sure to tell them that they have nothing to lose and everything to gain by trying Veriuni™. Mention the price comparisons, the money they could save, and the reduced liability risks. If they still have their doubts, mention the fact that they could purchase the sample pack to give the Veriuni™ cleaners a try. You may also want to consider pre-ordering the Veriuni™ sample packs to sell to prospective customers, especially home owners and others with a variety of cleaning needs.

Possible Objections From Prospective Customers
Healthcare Facilities
Objection: Many hospitals, nursing homes, and other healthcare facilities have a strict focus on using the most stringent, extremely harsh disinfectants available.
Possible Response: Although these cleaners work, the toxins contained within them could actually cause more problems, such as allergic reactions, illnesses, and breathing problems among employees and patients, than they solve. Moreover, the price, as well as the disposal costs, can be quite high. You could also mention that The University Medical Center at Hackensack, N.J.-the seventh largest healthcare facility in the nation-is now on board the Veriuni™ bandwagon (under a different brand name), and scientific evidence continues to mount about the possible side effects of toxic chemicals. Consequently, healthcare facilities across the country are re-examining their attitudes toward traditional cleansers.

Other Clients
Objection: The customer has tried “green” products in the past, only to discover they did not work effectively and/or were too expensive.
Possible Response: Point out that the very same cleaners now being marketed under the Veriuni™ brand name have been proven in tests by the EPA, the City of Santa Monica, and others. Veriuni™ has competed head-on with a variety of green and traditional cleaners and has consistently performed better and more effectively than competing products. Consequently, Veriuni™ products are sold and used all over the country by individual consumers, restaurants, hospitals, and janitorial companies, as well as anyplace where keeping the environment and the facilities clean are absolutely essential. You may also want to refer to the Veriuni™ testimonials (available at this site).

Objection: The customer is content with their current green or traditional product and sees no reason to switch brands.
Possible Response: Focus on health concerns for clients, students, employees, etc., particularly on the reduced risks of liability resulting from using green products. Mention Veriuni™’s endorsements and testimonials, as well as price comparison chart. Ask your prospective client what they really have to lose by switching to a proven, effective cleaner that is safer for their employees than traditional cleaners. Perform a demonstration of Veriuni™ in action.

Take Quitting Off the Table

You know how much I love to quote the mentors in Success University. Here's this week's words of inspiration from George Morse:

"The key to making a strong and lasting commitment is to take the option of quitting off the table. When you are faced with obstacles and looking for solutions to overcome them, you will end up with several options to choose from. For most people, giving up is always an option (they won’t admit that, but it’s true.) The bottom line: people frequently exercise the option to quit. It’s better to just take the option of quitting off the table.

About ten years into my marriage, my wife and I were having real trouble. Actually, trouble is an understatement! Even the marriage counselor told me our situation was hopeless, and she recommended we get divorced.

Feeling there was no other choice, I filed for divorce. It was the worst time of my life. My failing business didn’t seem very important compared to the prospect of losing my family, and there didn’t seem to be anything I could do to save either one. I had almost completely given up (about ready to fail my commitment test) when my mother gave me a little advice; a few simple, but powerful words that not only saved my marriage, but had a major impact on all areas of my life. My mother told me how at one point, in her marriage of forty years, my father and she were arguing frequently. The subject of divorce came up often, until it seemed they couldn’t have a disagreement without mentioning divorce. I asked her how they overcame the problem, and her answer was simple. She told me that both of them knew they did not want a divorce. They loved each other and desired to stay together, so they decided to stop throwing divorce on the table as an option. Once they stopped considering divorce as an option they had no other choice but to find ways to get along and find solutions to their problems.

My wife and I followed my mother’s advice to take divorce off the table as an option, and it has made all the difference in our marriage. It has been more than ten years since we reconciled our differences, and as I write this, our 20th Wedding Anniversary is only one month away. Sure, we’ve had our share of arguments along the way, but we’ve worked through them together and found solutions that worked. Quitting was no longer an option.

In my business I have applied this same understanding of commitment, and the results have been amazing. The turning point in the success of my business was made the day I took quitting off my table as an option. I scribbled out the last line of my plan that said, “…and if this doesn’t work I can do something else.” I no longer considered finding a different job, selling the business, or filing for bankruptcy as possible solutions to my business woes. Instead of spending valuable time and energy on new exit strategies, I began to focus that energy on the development of new and innovative ways to succeed. As a result, I began to find solutions and grow the business.

Today when I encounter problems, quitting is no longer an option. I only consider options that bring me closer to the realization of my vision. When working with clients, I encourage them to do the same. For those of them who have embraced the concept, the results have been life changing."

Getting Started has a sharp new look and it's also been streamlined so that new affiliates can work through the steps and get off to a faster start than ever before. Note: So that there are fewer distractions, the sidebar is also being removed soon.

The Getting Started page is the default "homepage" for all new affiliates logging in to the Affiliate Center. It remains the default page until an affiliate becomes an Executive Affiliate (EA). Once an EA, the more-detailed and instructional PATH page becomes the default homepage (though the Getting Started page is always just a click away).

Some words of wisdom from SFI's top affiliate, Stone Evans, from his guide "30 Days to Success":

"The fact is many people drop out as soon as they realize there is some work involved in building an Internet business. I don't really know why that is... People are willing to work their butts off for the guaranteed pay (however small it is) of a regular job, but some aren't willing to work toward building a business and achieving financial freedom.

But you are different and I applaud you for that.

I'm different too.

When I got online and decided that I was going to make my living from the Internet, I personally committed myself to doing whatever it takes. Just as I stated on the Plug-In Profit Site sales page: "I stayed up learning, working and drinking coffee until 5:00 in the morning month after month filled with the hope of making money online. There were days when I'd come home late from my job, start working on the Internet, and work the entire night without going to sleep — and then go back to work the next day."

That story is exactly true for me and I personally believe that it's this level of commitment that is necessary for anyone who wants to break through and succeed with an Internet business - the Plug-In Profit Site, SFI, or anything else.

Do you have that level of commitment?

In fact, it wasn't until I was in a "sink or swim" situation until my Internet business really took off. I was in the restaurant business. I owned the restaurant, but the reality of the situation was that the restaurant owned me.

I was the "Chief Cook and Bottle Washer" which basically means I did everything from prepare the food to serving customers, to washing dished to mopping floors... I could never take a vacation because if I did, the restaurant would go out of business. It couldn't operate without me and I couldn't operate without it.

The restaurant was the thing that was keeping myself and my family afloat financially, but I was no better off than someone tied down to a job. I felt trapped, but I was determined to find a way out. That's when I read Robert Allen's "Multiple Streams of Income" book and decided that I was going to find a way to build a business online.

So I started working part time (in every spare minute) on figuring out how to make money with affiliate programs. Over time, I started figuring things out and making some money through many of the methods outlined in previous pages of this guide, but it wasn't until my landlord for my restaurant space told me that they weren't going to renew my lease that I really broke through the the next level.

I was losing my restaurant location and I had a major life choice to make. I was earning a few thousand dollars a month from the Internet, but it wasn't enough to replace my restaurant income or provide for my family. I had to decide between moving my restaurant to a new location, getting a job "for the man" or sitting at home and completely figuring out how to make this business work so that it could be the sole financial provider for my family.

Obviously in writing this, I chose the latter. It was actually an easy decision. I was following my one true passion at the time. My dream of being able to control my financial destiny through a little box (laptop) that I could carry with me anywhere in the world was too alluring to pass up. I had the opportunity to go full force for my dream and I grabbed it.

In those 30 days after losing my restaurant, it was either make this business work and go broke trying.

This is the sink or swim situation I was in and that I needed to make the necessary psychological shifts to succeed.

In those first 30 days of going full-time online, I multiplied my online income 5 times. In the 90 days that followed, I doubled that. In the years since, my income as continued to grow exponentially.

But it's this sink or swim mentality that defines my success and the success of many who make it in this business.

You must eliminate the option of failure.

There is a famous story of Hernando Cortes that goes something like this:

"Hernando Cortes had a plan, he wanted to lead an expedition into Mexico to obtain its many treasures. He presented his plan to the Spanish governor, who was so excited that he gave him eleven ships and seven hundred men. Cortes did not tell the men or the governor the complete plan. After months of travel the eleven ships landed in Veracruz. Cortes had the men unload everything from all eleven ships. As they headed into their new adventure the men turned back and saw all eleven ships burning! Their reaction was to fight back, as surely an enemy had initiated such an attack. Cortes halted the men, as this was in his plan, he had ordered the ships to all be burned. Cortes did not know what he and his men would encounter in their expeditions. What he did know was that by "Burning the Ships" he had completely eliminated their option of going back. At the same time creating an intensely powerful motivation to succeed."

You must burn your ship(s) if you are going to succeed in this business.

What ship(s)? Most likely your current job.

I'm not saying you need to quit, but whatever it is that you are holding onto for security is keeping you mentally unprepared to pursue your Internet business with the full vim and vigor necessary for you to succeed on a high level.

Internally, you must find a way to burn your ships of security and start relying on your Internet business as if it is the ONLY thing you've got.

Read that last line again. And again. And again...

THIS is the secret to success in this business or any other.

As soon as you make this internal shift, you will unlock forces inside you for growing and succeeding in your business that will surprise everyone - including yourself.

Likewise, if you cannot burn your ships of security, those same forces that exist inside you right now and which can set you free immediately will remain dormant and unable to carry you to the extraordinary life you dream of.

This is something no marketing technique I can teach you can do for you. It's something that must come from within you, and if it doesn't, no marketing technique I can teach you here will make a bit of difference.

Examine my words on this page and then examine yourself and your commitment to this business carefully.

Do you have what it takes? Are you as committed as you must be? Can you burn your current ships of security and do everything it takes to build new ones?

These are the central questions that must be answered by you and you alone which will determine your destiny in this business. Nothing is more important than this.

To be entirely honest, if you aren't willing to burn your ships of security right now, you might as well pack up shop immediately because this business will be nothing more than a hobby for you - and hobbies are money pits.

If however you are absolutely committed to making this business work, it is time for you to continue your journey.

"I'm speaking directly to those of you who are serious about wanting to succeed with your own SFI home business.

If you're like me, you joined SFI with a dream. Perhaps it was the idea of becoming financially independent, or maybe you're having financial difficulties and are searching for a way out. Perhaps you dream of owning that "dream home" you've always wanted...or that car...or boat.

You may be searching for a way to spend more time with your family or have goals of raising enough money to leave your country for better opportunities. It could be that you are unsatisfied with your current job and are looking for a much more rewarding career, or you're simply exploring a new possibility.

Whatever your dream, you probably joined SFI to begin with because you saw the word "FREE."

I would like to tell you a story, if you will listen...

About a year ago, I came upon an ad while surfing the Internet. I read it, and it drew me in. It advertised an Internet marketing business that claimed you
could become successful with no investment required. It also stated it was completely free to join.

I thought, why not? I'll try it since it's free, and I'll see what happens. If it doesn't work, then it doesn't work.

But if it DOES work...

I have dreams, as any person does. I also have my share of bills, and my credit is not as good as I'd like. I want to make money to take care of these problems. I'd also like to build a nice cozy house in the mountains and own a nice SUV. I want to work from home and raise a family of my own. I want to visit Ireland and work on my family's genealogy. I also wish to help out my family, who are in need of assistance themselves—I suppose I want to be the "hero" of the family.

So I decided to try out this free offer. I set out with my goals and dreams and gave it a shot. I didn't have much hope for this business, since my luck has never been very good. I have tried businesses such as this and never got very far. I was skeptical, naturally.

The business I'm talking about (as you've probably already guessed) was SFI. I didn't have any money to invest...and, even if I did, I was very wary about investing in something I wasn't so sure about. So I worked hard for about three months placing free advertisements all over the Internet. After three months, all I had to show for my efforts was perhaps five affiliates and a very small monthly check.

But I was happy, nonetheless, because at least I was actually making some money with this business.

However, my financial problems were getting the best of me, and the progress with my business wasn't coming fast enough. So I quit. After about six months, I was no better off than when I'd quit. I thought about the business again and said to myself:

"Where would I be now if I hadn't quit? Where would I be if I had remained persistent and kept on going? After all they said to at least give it a year..."

I jumped back onto the SFI bandwagon and made a personal promise that I was not going to give up again. I also realized something VERY important: I wasn't going to reach my goals very fast without making some kind of investment in my dreams.

Whether you open your own auto shop, run your own bakery, operate your own janitorial franchise, or sell homemade crafts, you have to invest something
to receive something. To make money, you need to invest money.

Now at this point you may be saying to yourself, "I knew it! This business was too good to be true." You may even be thinking of quitting SFI. Just remember:

...No matter what kind of business you get yourself into you're going to HAVE to make SOME KIND of investment to get ANYWHERE! To make money, you need to invest money.

That said, the investment you decide to make for your SFI home business does NOT have to break your budget. Actually, it can be quite reasonable and affordable.

For example, to start a traditional offline business (auto shop, janitorial, bakery, etc.) how much of an investment do you think you would have to make?

$10,000? $50,000? $100,000??

These type of businesses typically require a lot in start-up investment!!

I use plenty of free advertisements, for example, but I also take the time to invest a few dollars here and there.

"That all sounds really good," you say, "but what do you do if you don't know how to advertise?"

Well, some people don't advertise at all. Instead, they invest in the Eagle Advertising Co-op (https://www.sfimg.com/Resources/EagleCoop.sfi) and let it do all the advertising for them.

In the Eagle Advertising Co-op, you pay $45 per unit (two or three units are sufficient to start out with) in exchange to have professional marketers advertise ON YOUR BEHALF! Then, you simply concentrate on following up with the prospects the Co-op brings in FOR YOU.

If you have some money and little time, this is perfect for you. If you have little money and lots of time, stick with advertising yourself until you raise enough to purchase one or two Co-op units.

Even better, many people advertise AND invest in a share or two of the Co-op. Those are people who are well on their way to being successful! I now have 200 affiliates, for example. A small number compared to some, but enough for me to become successful! Most came in through the Co-op, yet I also continue to advertise manually.

The bottom line is if you want to be successful in ANY business, you will have to invest SOMETHING. And investing in SFI is one of the best and least expensive investments you can make.

If you cannot afford to invest anything at this moment, don't worry! Just continue to advertise any way you can. When you have sufficient funds, you can make your investment....It's not a race!

Work at your own pace, but overall, remember your dreams and your goals. Those are what you are striving for. And as long as you keep on working with SFI to reach those goals, and you DON'T GIVE UP, then you will reach those goals.

I learned that lesson when I quit. This time, though, I am determined to succeed and to KEEP working towards my goals and dreams. And I have to say I am extremely satisfied with where I'm at right now with SFI!

I started out JUST LIKE YOU did, and if I can make it here through determination, anyone can. If you want your dreams bad enough, you will get them.

REMEMBER!! The successful DID NOT get where they are by GIVING UP! They were determined enough to reach their goals...and that's just what they did.
